The following classes and special events are being offered at Mercy Fitness Center during the month of November. 

 

SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING DEMOS

Saturdays and Sundays in November | Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. & Sunday 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Register at the Customer Service Desk and meet in Studio 3 to experience the unique and proven EXOS training system. This workout provides a challenging and rewarding full-body workout in a fun and exciting group environment. Each class is led by our degreed and certified personal trainers. FREE for members and non-members.

HIIT Training Demos

Wednesdays and Fridays in November | 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. 

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) combines circuit training and compound core exercises to keep your heart rate up and burn more fat in less time. FREE for members and non-members (first time visit).

Tuesdays and Thursdays in November | 7:00 a.m. – 7:50 a.m. 

SMR is a guided stretching class designed to help you recover and strengthen more efficiently. Join Jeremy to learn more about releasing muscular fascia and limbering up through stretching. FREE for members and non-members (first time visit). No registration required.

GENTLE PILATES REFORMER

Fridays | 11:00 a.m. – 11:50 a.m. 

Learn the essentials of Pilates Reformer in a restorative environment while strengthening muscles and improving posture and core strength. Class size is limited. Cost:  $90 members | $105 non-members.  Registration ends Nov. 12th

SWIM FIT

Join this 5-week swimming for exercise program, and participate in as many classes as you like for the duration of the program (pre-registration required to reserve your spot). SwimFit is appropriate for any swimmer who can safely swim 100 yards in the pool without stopping (regardless of stroke). Cost: $95 members | $110 non-members. Registration ends Nov. 12th

PEYOW AQUA PILATES

Peyow Functional Aqua Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels and special conditions, such as arthritis, Parkinson’s, Fibromyalgia, stroke, cardiac, obesity, and PTSD. DROP THE NUMBERS

Drop the Numbers is a program designed to reduce individual health risk factors such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, and body fat percentage. Drop the Numbers will teach participants to understand, evaluate, and change their daily exercise routines to manage each these measurable health factors and see improvement over time.! Use the Pilates Reformer to lift and strengthen pelvic floor muscles, help improve and control bladder function, for post-childbirth recovery, and recovery from prostate surgery. WOMEN ON WEIGHTS (W.O.W.)

Each session of up to 4 individuals will be led by a degreed and certified trainer and you will learn the basics of resistance training using different styles including machines, free weights, and body weight/bands. Gain a better understanding of how to improve your body and feel more confident while doing it! Reserve your spot at the Customer Service Desk. Cost:  $99 members| $149 non-members.
